Project Summary:

Students learnt about microorganisms through project based learning. They researched on the harmful and useful aspects of microorganisms through various activities such as observing microorganisms under the microscope, internet search, yogurt making activity, poster making etc .Dr. Iqra Asif (Resident doctor of Jinnah Hospital) visited and oriented the students about the causes and prevention of different diseases. The students were ambitious and decided to spread awareness on prevention from diseases among the other students and the support staff of the school for which they did surveys and ran an awareness campaign in the school.

بیکٹریا اور وائرس  سے پھیلنے والی بیماریوں کے متعلق آگاہی

ڈینگی اور وائرس کی بیماری کی تشخیص، علامات اور علاج کے  متعلق جماعت میں رپورٹ  نگاری کروائی گئی۔ طالبات نے ایک مہم چلائی جس کا مقصد عام  آدمی کو ان بیماریوں کے متعلق بتایا گیا۔ طا لبات نے بروشرز اور پمفلٹ بھی تقسیم کیے۔طالبات  کے اس کام کو  والدین اور عوام الناس کی طرف سے سراہا گیا۔

Entry Event:

Students visited the Science Lab and viewed microorganisms under the microscopes. Various slides of microorganisms were shown to the students by the teacher. Students discussed mutually and came up with the driving question for the project. KWL charts were also prepared by the students.

Project Culmination:

The project was culminated and finally presented to the teachers, students and parents through a week wise power point presentation. All the products were presented and discussed with the audience. Students presented the friendly aspects of microorganisms by arranging tea, coffee, cookies, pizza etc (all the eatables which are made by using microorganisms). Feedback forms were also been filled by the audience.
