Driving Question:
Why do we buy bottled water for drinking instead of getting from taps at our homes?
Project Summary:
Students had been observing that much of the water is being wasted in their school, city and country due to improper use of water. They also wanted to explore the impact of human activity on climate and how climate change impacts on water availability. They decided to research about water scarcity, reasons and impact in great detail after meeting with government officials from Capital Developmental Authority. Through this project they wanted to think of some workable ways to clean and save water and also have sustainable water supply, which eventually also contribute in improving their local and global environment.

Entry Event:
A visit to Capital Development Authority to understand the layout of structure of the city and its impact on water management. CDA is responsible for coordinating all endeavors for the development of the whole of the capital region so that the unity of purpose is ensured at all times.

Project Culmination:
Students presented their proposed plan, submitted to CDA, along with workable models with instructions for reusing waste water and making water filters at a local level to parents and school community.
